Support for coaches who want to grow and coach in a more inclusive way

How do you want to develop as a coach?

Becoming a coach is a journey with infinite learning opportunities. New coaches are often focused on building deeper understanding of what coaching is and isn't and how coaching differs from therapy and other forms of support. Often, coaching frameworks and tools become something to hold to while learning.

Much of the learning happens during the coaching itself and just as ICF states in the core competencies, we need to develop a habit of reflecting about our coaching to become better coaches. In addition, it is often essential to learn together with other coaches and get support, mentorship and supervision from more experienced coaches. I work with coaches who want to deepen their knowledge and I offer mentor coaching, conversations and lectures around how you can work with coaching in a more inclusive way.

As coaches we have different backgrounds, experiences and areas we are extra passionate about. Beyond leadership, my passion extends to the deeper human aspects around neurodiversity, giftedness, chronic illness and limitations, trauma, stress and burnout. I aim to meet my clients as they are, where they are, and to be able to do that I specialize in working with clients who are neurodivergent, have been through traumatic experiences or are in a challenging or stressful situation in some other way.

FOR COACHES

Reflective conversations

Beyond mentor coaching, I help coaches grow by sharing my knowledge on topics like leadership and neurodiversity. Would you like to deepen your skills so that you can coach in a more inclusive way? Do you want to understand more about working with clients who are in very challenging situations? In a conversation we explore your topic of choice, hopefully giving you new insights and tools to use with your clients.

Areas I am extra passionate about

Neurodiversity

We are all different and as coaches we will, whether we know it or not, meet clients who are autistic, have ADHD, are gifted or are neurodivergent in some other way. Without knowledge we risk seeing the client through the wrong lens and offer coaching that isn't tailored to the client's needs. By learning about neurodiversity and how you can coach in a more inclusive way you get a deeper understanding of our human differences and how you can meet clients as they are, where they are, which in the end benefits all clients.

Trauma-informed coaching

Trauma therapy and trauma treatment is beyond the realm of coaching but as coaches we might still work with clients who have PTSD, complex PTDS or in some other way live with the effects of traumatic experiences. Even if the coaching is focused on something else, it is important to coach a such a client in a trauma-informed way. By learning more about trauma-informed coaching you will feel more confident in coaching clients who have been through traumatic experiences.

Mental health, stress and burnout

Unfortunately, stress and burnout are common today. I believe that we, both as coaches and fellow humans, can make a big difference by learning more about mental health, stress and burnout, so that we can create room for respectful conversations on these difficult topics.

Chronic illness and chronic pain

Sometimes life challenges us in ways we neither wanted nor expected. When I got diagnosed with a chronic illness I saw first-hand how hard it can be to find the right support. I am therefore extra passionate about working with clients who wish to find their way of handling their situation so that they can move forward in a for them meaningful way, even if there are things that can't be changed. By reflecting about your beliefs and the models you use, you can deepen your ability to work with clients who live in difficult and challenging situations.
